A grand cru Japanese tea in its purest form. This is not a blend. Itâs the sincere expression of a single varietal, a single terroir, a single farmer.
đż Single varietal: Yabukita
đ Naturally sweet taste
đ” Deep umami, no bitterness
This organic Japanese matcha reveals a rare taste profile: elegant umami, green and mineral notes, earthy and nutty nuances, then a sweet finish reminiscent of red berries. Some even find a marbled cake aroma, between vanilla and cocoa. A full-bodied, round, enveloping cup.
From a single-origin terroir in Wazuka, cultivated by Nakai-san according to strict organic farming standards, this matcha highlights the Yabukita varietal in its purest form. Where most matchas are blends to standardize the taste year after year, here you taste a vintage, a harvest, an identity.
đ± A masterpiece, from field to powder
Organic tea cultivation and matcha processing are two distinct crafts.
The farmer looks after the plants: managing shading, climatic hazards, pruning, harvesting, and adhering to organic specifications.
The producer receives the harvest and performs a rigorous selection: sorting leaves, removing impurities, separating the noble parts (the leaf blade), then slow grinding on granite mills. Each step requires precision, expertise, and consistency.
This long-term partnership ensures that the highest quality leaves are transformed into exceptional matcha. The result: a fine, vibrant, intensely aromatic powder.
