Valentin recounts:
During my many stays in Poland with my fiancée Maria, I discovered an incredibly rich ceramic world. In the restaurants of Warsaw, the pieces were so beautiful that I wanted to find their creators.
This is how I met Michał from Pracownia Shadowland, an artisan specializing in ceramics for Japanese restaurants. He welcomed me into his workshop in Gdańsk, where bowls are crafted with precision, patience, and a unique sensitivity.
🧑🎨 The artisan: a journey guided by ceramics
Michał has been immersed in this art since childhood. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in sculpture and artistic ceramics, he launched his workshop in 2018. Today, he hand-crafts tableware for gourmet restaurants, cocktail bars, and sushi bars in Poland.
